Eyelash Extensions are a very popular new service and will lengthen, thicken and add curl to your natural lashes. A Classic Set is one synthetic lash applied/adhered to one natural lash, one by one. A Volume Mix Set or Hybrid Set combines Classic and 2D, 3D or 4D fans creating a more plush appearence. Eyelash Extensions are perfect for special occasions or everyday wear. Most cleints say they don't need to wear makeup anymore! (NO need for mascara or lash curlers)
When aplied properly, you should feel little to nothing different with your new set of lashes. A full set of lash extensions are complimentary to your eye shape and brow shape as well as how much space between your lash line to your eyebrows. Your set will be styled to suit you and your preferences. They may look very natural or more dramatic. It is up to you.
Eyelash Extensions should last the same duration of your natural lash growth cycle. Everyone's lash experience is difference and dependant of your daily lifestyle. To keep your lashes looking great and full, fill's are recommended every 2-3 weeks. Also remember that you naturally shed 3-5 natural eyelashes per day. Also disregard the myth that extensions cause your natural lashes to fall out.
Though mascara is not recommended or necessary with lash extensions, you may wear a WATERBASED mascara only if you desire. DO NOT use any oil based products on or around your eyelashes and eyelids. Purchase an oil free eyemakeup remover. Liquid eyeliners are easiest to use and remove from the lash line.
YES! Please avoid water for at least 24 hours after getting a full set or fill, but after that all is okay. The bonding agent used to adhere the lashes is water proof. It will of course dissolve over time (hence no oil based products). Avoid excessive heat often as well as intense water pressure directly on eye area.
Please don't! Lash curlers are not recommended as they can damage the synthetic fibers of the extensions or even your natural lashes. Eyelash extensions have a curl, but if more is desired please come in for a fill and speak with your lash technician about adding more volume and different curl type. Thank you!

Eyelash extensions are applied to the natural lash hair, safe and pain-free. The service is very gentle and sedating. Most clients love their lash naps and beauty rest.
The FDA is not cuurently regulating lash extensions as the synthetic lash is adhered to the lash hair and not the skin.
Do your research and find a certified Eyelash Extension Technician as impropper application may cause damage to your eyelashes.
The duration of your lash service varies from 1 hour to 2.5 hours depending on a fill or fully set. At Shine Beauty Studio, Ariel takes her time to give your exceptional lashes comfortably and safely. The average time is 1.5 to to 2 hours. You will lay comfortably on a facial/massage table with your eyes closed. Collagen gel eye pads are applied under your eyes to keep bottom lashes out of the way and give you a hydration and firming eye service while you rest. Then the individual lashes are applied to each natural lash.
Avoid caffeine at least 2 hour prior to your service. Caffeine may cause your eyes to be "jumpy" and move rapidly even when closed making it hard to apply the lash extensions.
Remove eyemakeup if possible. Your lash technician wil always make sure to cleanse and prep your lashes during your service, but your help is always appreciated.
Remove contact lenses prior to your service. If not possible, it is usually okay and do not worry. ( In some cases sensitivity may increase when you keep your lenses in)
Use the restroom before heading in to the service as you will be getting lots of beaty rest for approximately 1 to 2 hours and laying on your back.
